"How would it be if you came and had tea with me?” - Mr. Tumnus, The Chronicles of Narnia

Mr. Tumnus’ Story: Mr. Tumnus was only a little baby when we first brought him home to CCFS. Threatened with going to “freezer camp,” we were sadly his only hope. There really isn’t too much difference between the plight of boy goats and boy calves – they are both products of the meat and dairy industry. Sadly, the fate for being born male in either species, isn’t a very good one. Mr. Tumnus spent his first month with us living inside the Rookery. We fed him from a bottle and it wasn’t long before he was following us everywhere. Mr. Tumnus never grew to be very tall. He is a Nigerian dwarf – and at that, a very small one. We think he shares a large resemblance to “Mr. Tumnus” in Narnia. We know he likes tea parties – and would look quite handsome in a red scarf – but how about playing the flute??? We also know he is loyal and kind and is the truest fellow you will ever meet. Thank you for taking an active role in his care and being there for this sweet goat whose only desire is to be loved. Mr. Tumnus sends you a single goat kiss: “X” |
