Albus and his little sister, Tituba, were found as small kittens in an abandoned barn. These precious tabby cats were brought to us and have lived here ever since. Albus is a big, beautiful cat who has an uncanny stare as if he were wiser than his young cat years. "Titchy" never seemed to grow out of the kitten-stage and is half the size of her brother. There are four other feral/stray cats living at the Rookery, including Jerry (the blue-eyed siamese), Pumpkin Moonface (who was found in our workshop during a blizzard), Miss Minoes (black cat beauty) and our newest arrival, Meghan (a Maine cooncat.) All of the cats who live here were either found as strays or ferals. They LOVE living at the Rookery and spend most of their time just being cats - snoozing on a sunny window sill; climbing trees and playing in the tall field grass. We think our cats are the most magical of beings - especially at twilight.
